Authorities in Wuhan, the initial epicentre of the coronavirus pandemic, have ordered fresh Covid-19 tests for all 14 million residents of the central Chinese city. The Wuhan Covid-19 Epidemic Prevention Headquarters on May 11, 2020, instructed all districts in the Chinese city to submit plans by noon the next day outlining how testing could be done within 10 days.The order followed six new coronavirus cases being reported in the same residential building over the weekend, in what was the city’s first cluster of new infections since April 3.
