Transport Minister Catherine King was slammed in parliament today for “incompetency” after she copped a grilling from the Opposition over the decision to block Qatar Airways’ bid for extra flights, according to Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“The under-siege minster left exposed as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese jetted off on yet another overseas trip,” Ms Markson said.

She said Question Time on Wednesday unravelled into a “shouting match” after Opposition leader Peter Dutton demanded Ms King answer questions about the Qatar Airways decision.

“Out of all the scandals that are starting to plague the Albanese government at the moment – this is the biggest because it risks embroiling the Prime Minster personally,” Ms Markson said.
