Kyiv says its needs more than 6 billion dollars in the next 12 months to help recover from Russia’s war.
European Commission president Ursula Von der Leyen has pledged 54 billion dollars for a 3 year period starting next year.
Washington says it will provide 1.3 billion dollars in additional financial assistance to Ukraine for its reconstruction efforts.
The World Bank estimates the cost of the war at about 411 billion dollars so far.
