Venezuela’s government has condemned a UK court ruling denying it permission to withdraw gold worth $1bn from the Bank of England.
President Nicolas Maduro said the funds would help pay for the fight against coronavirus.
Venezuela’s vice president said the ruling is an attempt to steal the country’s gold.
But a judge ruled the UK only recognises one leader – Juan Guaido.
Al Jazeera’s Sonia Gallego reports.
