Demographer Bernard Salt says 2020 signalled a bookend to the baby boomers as the generation declines and the “time for the millennials” begins.
“From the time of the Coronavirus onwards you will see the baby boomers actually subside and their influences wane over the 2020s,” he told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
“In many ways, it’s the natural way of things, one generation rises, another generation recedes.
“That time where the baby boomer really starts to recede especially from the workplace is before and after the Coronavirus.”
