In a fresh twist to the Rafale deal controversy, Former French President Francois Hollande told a french news website that it was the Indian govt that proposed Reliance for the Rafale deal and also says the french didn’t have a choice in choosing the partner. While the Indian Government quickly responded saying the French news website report is being verified, the opposition hit out at the Government and in a tweet Rahul Gandhi also said: “we now know he personally delivered a deal worth billions of dollars to a bankrupt Anil Ambani”. The spotlight now clearly is on who is stating facts and who is covering up on this deal.
