A new drive-through Covid-19 testing site opened in a car park in the Philippine city of Taguig on April 29, 2020. The new facility near the capital Manila is part of a programme that aims to ensure tests are done for all those who need them. The partial lockdown has been extended to May 15, and Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte says he may invoke martial law to enforce measures meant to slow the spread of the disease. As of April 30, the country had reported 8,212 Covid-19 infections and 558 deaths.
