Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger says the Liberal Party is playing “defensive” in every election, the question is what is the Liberal Party “strongly in favour of”.
“I’m talking about cultural issues, not a bigger road here, a new hospital there, I mean these transactional policies which you have to have,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“But they don’t tell you the core of what the political party believes in.
“So, what are the values which underpin the Liberal Party – that’s what been lost.”
