Taiwan tech giant Foxconn plans to team up with US hardware leader Nvidia to build “AI factories” globally. Foxconn’s chairman Young Liu announced the news with Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang in Foxconn’s annual tech showcase event in Taipei on October 18, 2023. The cooperation comes after Nvidia stopped exporting its chips to mainland China in line with a recent US move to further restrict tech exports to the country.
