On The Urban Debate with Faye D’Souza tonight, President Ram Nath Kovind administered the oath of office and secrecy to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan with thousands gathered in the forecourt and millions watching on their TV screens. Prime Minister Narendra Modi ended his oath with “Bharat Mata ki Jai.” Alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union ministers, including BJP president Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, and former foreign secretary S Jaishankar, took oath at a spectacular ceremony at the forecourt of majestic Rashtrapati Bhavan. However, Some of the key faces in the previous Modi government, including Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj, Maneka Gandhi, and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore were not part of the new Council of Ministers.
