Congress leader and CWC member Tarun Gogoi spoke to Tiranga TV on Rahul Gandhi adamant on resigning as party president. He said, ‘I have doubts about his continuation as party president, but one good thing is that he will continue to fight against these forces, as it is an ideological battle. Anybody who is elected as the Congress president will get our support. According to me, he would step down because he is a stubborn fellow but I would be very happy if he revises his decision. If he is taking the whole responsibility of Congress’ failure on his shoulders, then it’s his greatness.’
