Tamil Nadu Politics: NewsX-Polstrat Exit Poll project win for DMK, Lok Sabha Elections 2019-
The lok sabha polls in tamil nadu this time were fought between the AIADMK and DMK led fronts but minus their iconic leaders Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi.
NewsX-Polstrat Exit Poll has forecast that the DMK and Congress Alliance is projected to win 22 Lok Sabha Seats, a massive boost for MK Stalin who is also eyeing to win the 22 assembly seats that went for bypolls along with the lok sabha polls.
AIADMK which split into two, after Jayalalithaa’s death, is fighting the polls in alliance with the BJP and other regional outfits including PMK and DMDK among others. according to the NewsX-Polstrat exit poll AIADMK will get 16 seats out 39 lok sabha seats in Tamil Nadu.
The other two players in the fray are TTV Dhinakaran’s AMMK and Kamal Haasan’s Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM), it remains to seen if they manage to make a dent into the votebanks of the DMK and AIADMK .
