Protests against Syria’s government are intensifying in the south, amid widespread anger about dire living conditions.
Rallies have also been held in Aleppo and eastern cities.
Opposition activists are hoping to revive their revolution that began in 2011 with the demand to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad.
