Sky News Darwin Bureau Chief Matt Cunningham says the introduction of new alcohol management legislation in the Northern Territory is a “spectacular backflip” from the territory government.

NT Chief Minister Natasha Fyles revealed the government will not re-introduce the Stronger Futures legislation, but a new legislation where community alcohol plans will be developed and communities that want to make changes will go to a vote, requiring agreement from 60 per cent of the population.
