Film industry colleagues of ‘Parasite’ actor Lee Sun-kyun, who was found dead on December 27, 2023, paid respects to him at a memorial in Seoul the following evening. South Korea’s police chief has defended the inquiry into alleged drug use by the actor, after Lee’s death raised questions over the apparent harshness and public nature of the investigation.
