Singapore has refuted articles published by news outlets Bloomberg and South China Morning Post, which allege that its “fake news” law suppresses dissent and the right to free expression. The Communications and Information Ministry said there were factual errors in all three versions of a Bloomberg article about the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act (POFMA).
