A massive political war has erupted after U.S President, Donald Trump’s bluff on Jammu & Kashmir. Responding to opposition in both houses of parliament, External Affairs minister, S Jayashankar rejected Trump’s claim and said that PM Narendra Modi made absolutely no mediation request to the U.S President. He also added that there will be no change in India’s Kashmir policy. However, the opposition remains unconvinced and attacks Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence over the issue.
U.S President, Donald Trump’s offer to mediate on the Kashmir issue came as he met Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan at the White House on Monday when the two leaders discussed a host of issues.
