A shipwreck resulting in the death of more than 800 Australians has been discovered 80 years after the maritime wreckage occurred.
The shipwreck of the SS Montevideo Maru was discovered 4,000 meters below the surface of the ocean off the coast of the Philippines.
Silentworld Producer Max Uechtritz says the discovery of the wreckage was “one of the most emotional moments” of his life.
