Psychologist and author Dr Jordan Peterson says women who are afraid of men “confuse competence with power”.

He said women then believe the road to peace is the “antagonism to power”.

“Because they don’t discriminate between power and confidence, they become antagonistic to their son’s competence,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“Then they reap exactly what they sow – they end up with incompetent boys.”

He said if young boys have a shred of ethical sense, “it’s just going to stop you, just going to demotivate you”.
