Sky News host Caroline Di Russo discusses what the former Queen of Denmark, Margrethe, will be remembered for following her abdication.
Queen Margrethe was the world’s only reigning queen and the longest-serving current monarch in Europe before her abdication.
“We have seen various photos of her over the years. She has got a very quirky style – even some of her jewellery she has worn has been very unusual,” Ms Di Russo said.
“She has definitely got that creative side to her, which some might think is a little bit unusual for a monarch and particularly one of her generation.”
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen proclaimed Frederik the new King of Denmark on Monday morning.
