Police road blitz sees over 22,000 breath tests

Police were out in force this week targeting dangerous drivers across NSW.

It comes as part of ‘Operation Nabbed’.

The operation targeted drug and alcohol driving offences in a bid to improve general road compliance across multiple commands.

Police conducted 22,279 random breath tests, which resulted in 87 people being charged.

Police also conducted 1,105 roadside drug tests, resulting in 91 positive drug tests.
