Story No 1: Economic Slowdown
Amid the Economic slowdown official data shows that the government’s capital expenditure for the June quarter has reduced considerably. Now, this even as the consumption demand and investment activity has seen a steady slide. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday on the state of the economy and various officials of the Finance Ministry were also present at the meeting.

After promising free WiFi hotspots and free 200 units of electricity, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announces free bus rides for women from October 29th. He said that women will be able to travel free on Delhi government buses from October 29th. He also said, ‘We are also working so that metro rides for women can be made free’.
