The results of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections are out and India has spoken and in no uncertain terms said that they want Prime Minister Modi as their PM for the second term. They have an overwhelming majority which has now become a reality.
But as a consequence of that, the opposition is the decimation of the Congress Party as President Rahul Gandhi has lost his own bastion of Amethi to BJP’s Smriti Irani. Congress is non-existent in over 12 states.
