The Philippines has lifted a travel ban on Taiwan after Taipei threatened to cancel Filipino workers’ visa-free entry in retaliation.The Philippine government began including Taiwanese citizens in a Chinese travel ban on February 11. It said that because the World Health Organisation classified Taiwan as part of China, travellers from there were being included in the ban that aims to contain the spread of the coronavirus.The measurestranded hundreds of Filipino workers and more than 500 Taiwanese travellers, Lennon Wong was one of them. The Taiwanese NGO worker talked about what happened after the ban was announcedwith the South China Morning Post from Manila, Philippines.
