Singer Deborah Conway says there’s been “outrageous hate” circulating online and through society amid Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza.
“People’s shops have been graffitied … people are abused in the street, resources have been torn off doors,” she told Sky News Australia.
“There’s not just intimidation online … there’s also some kind of physical kind of threat as well.
“The whole thing is a really murky soup of ugliness.
“I found it too upsetting to stay silent, so that’s why I had to speak up.”
