Services are beginning to be resumed following the major Optus outage, but businesses are demanding answers.

More than 400,000 businesses, big and small, have been impacted by the Optus outage.

Many using the Telco were left without a way to take cashless transactions after internet was cut.

Phone lines were also down leaving businesses unable to take calls from customers.

Optus CEO Kelly Bayer Rosmarin has said customers may be able to get compensated for the outage and the network is “very apologetic” for the disruption caused.
