Organisers of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo said they are scaling back the torch arrival ceremony because of coronavirus. They cancelled the trip scheduled to bring 140 Japanese children to Athens for the torch handover ceremony. The International Olympic Committee has repeatedly said the games will go on as planned.
