Advocate and former trans child Chloe Cole says her health was negatively impacted by her initial transition from female to male, and she has since de-transitioned.

“I wasn’t fully informed of all the risks and I’m not the only one who is in this situation,” she told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

Ms Cole first underwent her gender transition at the age of 13 and is now pursuing legal action against the doctors who treated her.

“I’ve had side effects from the puberty blockers, the cross-sex hormones, as well as the double mastectomy.”

Ms Cole, who is now 18, said children are not able to consent to undergoing these treatments.

“No kid is equipped to make this kind of decision.”
