To curb the spread of the coronavirus, Malaysia is in partial lockdown until April 28, 2020. Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has ordered tighter border controls to prevent the entry of imported Covid-19 cases. In the capital city Kuala Lumpur, health authorities have set up testing zones to look for hidden cases among residents. As of April 14, more than 4,817 people in the country tested positive for the illness – the second highest in Southeast Asia after the Philippines.
