Labour’s Shadow Scotland Secretary Ian Murray told Trevor Phillips that the polls in Scotland overall would put Labour ahead, but the party is “taking nothing for chances”.
He added that the question of Scottish independence has “gone so far down the list of priorities it’s nearly fallen off the end” due to cost of living worries, NHS waiting lists, and fears for the future.
