Shadow Infrastructure Minister Bridget McKenzie says her “greatest fears” have been confirmed with the Labor Party looking set to “rip the guts” out of rural and regional infrastructure spending.

“And instead directing budget money to the re-election campaign of Daniel Andrews with the $2.2 billion on the table for the suburban rail link,” she told Sky News Australia.
