NDA member from Bihar, Janata Dal (United), will not join the new Narendra Modi government, apparently due to differences with the BJP over the number of ministerial berths offered to it. Sources said that the BJP was offering one Cabinet berth to the JD(U), which the regional party was unhappy with. JD(U) was also dissatisfied with the portfolio offered to it.
