A Japanese company is offering what it calls “do-it-yourself funeral kits” produced in the city of Nagano. The DIY solution for the dearly departed reportedly costs around 25,800 yen (US$240), substantially cheaper than typical Japanese funerals which have a price tag of 1.5 million yen (US$13,800).
