Grant Shapps has said he doesn’t think there is “any equivalence” between Israel and Hamas, citing reports – which Sky News has not independently verified – of people including toddlers – being massacred in southern Israel.
The defence secretary said Israel will “go out of their way to protect civilians”, when asked if there is a limit to how far Israel should go given the risk to civilian lives.
