India is launching its first sun-studying space mission☀️

The spacecraft will be launched from Sriharikota, on the eastern coast of the country and Aditya L1 will travel 1.5m km in about four months to study the sun’s atmosphere.

The mission follows the success of India’s Chandrayaan-3 becoming the first spacecraft to land on the south pole of the moon in late August 🚀
