Malnutrition in India is a chronic problem and the slowing economy may make the problem worse.
And with the GDP growth forecast between 4.2-4.7 percent, the economy is witnessing a degradation in many sectors.
Activists and economists say distress in the agriculture sector may have exacerbated the problem.
