More than 12-thousand children are among the nearly 28-thousand Palestinians killed in Gaza since Israel’s war began.
Countless others have been injured, making children the worst affected group.
Now, a small number of them are set to be transferred to Italy.
The government there has agreed to give them medical treatment and keep them for as long as needed.
