Visits to Hong Kong’s hiking trails and beaches are often followed by a locally brewed beer, making it no surprise that the city’s craft beer scene is on the up. The Hong Kong Beer Co has been brewing since 1995, offering a number of brews that reflect the city’s unique identity, from the Big Wave Bay IPA to The Peak Pilsner. Industry leader Chris Wong, who is also head brewer at local brewery Heroes, says his hometown has one of the quickest-growing craft beer scenes in Asia.
