Prosecutors have described it as one of the largest fraud cases in United States history.
Thirty-one-year-old Sam Bankman-Fried heads to trial in New York on Tuesday.
He is accused of misusing money made from his cryptocurrency exchange, FTX, ultimately leading to its collapse and the loss of billions of dollars of investors’ money.
