Facebook apologizes for ‘white genocide conspiracy theory’ ad category
Facebook has again had to apologise after it emerged that one of the categories it offered advertisers to target, was 'white genocide conspiracy theorists.' It was an investigation by The Intercept news site that unearthed the offending ad category. Reporters used it to place ads, approved by Facebook, that ended up reaching over 1560,000 people.
