Sky News Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus says elderly people could be exposed as a vulnerable group as major banks wind back cash withdrawals.

“I also feel sorry for elderly people who aren’t very comfortable using technology, so they might not be using the phones the same some of us do to pay for items,” Ms Marcus told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“They’re being told that the bank won’t do their core business anymore and that they’re going to have to use an ATM which could expose them as a vulnerable group to fraud skimming, card skimming, any of those threats.”
