Earlier tonight, Donald Trump was doing a Fox News interview in front of the Lincoln Memorial, when he suggested that no president in American history has faced the media hostility that he has, including Abraham Lincoln. Not only is it Absurd for Trump to compare himself to Lincoln, but it hides the fact that Trump doesn’t get hostile media coverage: he gets media coverage that reports on his awful views and factual errors.
Bernie Sanders is a politician who is better understood as getting systematically hostile coverage.
