“I’m going out”, were the last words from 30-year-old Jung Joo-hee to her father before setting off for South Korea’s Itaewon district on October 29, 2022. She was among the 156 people who died in the Itaewon disaster. Remembered by her family as a delight who loved animals, Joo-hee was laid to rest in the city of Namyangju five days after the tragedy.
