‎The South China Morning Post reported that many Chinese residents have to turn to the black market for generic COVID drugs as rising demand for limited supplies of approved antivirals amid waves of infections hitting the country.

The Chinese regime approved two COVID antivirals this year, Paxlovid and Azvudine from Pfizer, and an HIV drug from local firm Genuine Biotech. However, both drugs are only available in certain Chinese hospitals.
