Chinese incense workers have been toiling through the night to create million of incense sticks for the upcoming Lunar New Year at the end of January 2020, when devotees burn incense at temples and for traditional ceremonies. Yongchun county in China’s southeastern Fujian province is home to about 300 manufacturers employing more than 30,000 workers. They supply a third of global demand, mainly in China and Southeast Asia, and increasingly Europe.
