Hong Kong carrier Cathay Pacific Airways has changed its policy to allow staff members to wear surgical masks on all routes. The January 22, 2020, announcement followed accusations by workers that the airline violated their basic human rights by only allowing face covering on selected routes, amid an ongoing outbreak originating in China.The airline also said its subsidiary company, Cathay Dragon, will temporarily suspend flights to and from Wuhan from January 24, 2020 to February 29, 2020. The city in central China is the epicentre of the deadly coronavirus.
