A 30-year-old abandoned hotel which local people describe as a “haunted ghost palace” has become an offbeat tourist attraction on the Indonesian resort island of Bali. Some believe the structure is home to the spirits of workers who died building the hotel in the 1990s. The building is about 50km (30 miles) from Kuta in the centre of the island, and on the way to another popular tourist destination, Beratan Lake.
