Australian Tim Shaddock and a dog named Bella were rescued after they spent two months adrift in the Pacific Ocean aboard their disabled catamaran. After a storm damaged the vessel and knocked out all communications, the pair survived eating raw fish and drinking rainwater until they were spotted off the coast of Mexico in mid-July 2023 by a helicopter that was working with a fishing ship.
