Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said Canberra is “very actively” considering proposals to welcome in residents of Hong Kong after China’s central government enacted a sweeping national security law for the city. Morrison was responding to a reporter’s question about whether Australia would extend an offer of “safe haven” to Hong Kong people.
