Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held a telephonic conversation with his US counterpart Mark Esper on Article 370 and Jammu and Kashmir. Rajnath Singh told the US Defence Secretary that Kashmir is an internal matter and a sovereign issue.
Sources say that Mark Esper agreed with India’s stand and reiterated Washington’s position that Kashmir is a bilateral issue.
